The Holiday of Modern Mother's Day was started by Anna
Jarvis in Graphton West Virginia to honor all mothers and motherhood,
especially family and their mutual relations. These days are now celebrated in
different corners of the world on different days. As the Father's Day holiday
is celebrated to honor the fathers.
This holiday eventually became so commercial that its
founder, Anna Jarvis, and many people began to understand it as a "Holm
Holiday Holiday", i.e., as an abundant commercial purpose. Ana wanted to
end it while opposing the holiday she helped build.
